Mallorca is the number one destination in the Mediterranean for cycling and one of the leading destinations in Europe. Cycling in Mallorca is one of the best ways to see some of the island's hidden treasures and dramatic countryside. Whether you're a serious cyclist looking to get in some training in the spring sunshine, or just want to enjoy pottering around the quiet country lanes enjoying the countryside and the smell of the wild flowers and citrus trees.,

In 2011 Son Net was chosen by the world's leading cycling team, Saxo Bank - SunGaard and three times Tour de France Winner Alberto Contador, for the team's pre-season training camp.

There are great cycling routes starting right from the door of the hotel, and to make life easier for you, we've arranged for a selection of excellent quality aluminium or carbon road bikes to be available for hire from the hotel.

The specifications are as follows:

Aluminium Bikes:
- Ridley Aluminium Frame, Carbon Fenix Fork, Groupset Campagnolo Centaur 10speed, Compact Cranks (50X34), Fulcrum Racing 7 Wheels, Weight: 8.9kg (size M).

Carbon Bikes:
- SportBequi Carbon HM 12k Frame, Carbon HM Fork, Groupset Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed, Compact Cranks (50X34), Campagnolo Khamsin Wheels, Weight: 8.4kg (size M).

Rates for aluminium-framed bikes are just 18 Euros per day, whilst those with carbon-fibre frames cost 24 Euros per day.
